This Privacy Policy explains how Fair Marble LLC (“Fair Marble,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit www.fairmarble.com, request a quote, or otherwise interact with us. We are a Connecticut limited liability company located at 261 River Street, Bridgeport, CT 06604.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact details: name, phone number, email address, the Connecticut town you select, and any project notes you share through our quote, measurement, or contact forms.
• Project information: kitchen size, style preferences, timeline, photos, sketches, and other measurement details you upload.
• Communications: records of phone calls, emails, text messages, or showroom visits.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and time spent on the site.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from analytics providers, advertising partners, payment processors, and review platforms (such as Google) when you interact with content related to Fair Marble.

2. How we use your information

• Respond to quote requests, schedule in-home measures, and provide design consultations.
• Communicate with you about your project, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Improve our website, products, and services.
• Send you marketing or promotional messages (only with your consent and the ability to opt out at any time).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate our business, such as Resend (transactional email), web analytics providers, and customer-relationship-management tools. These vendors are contractually limited to using your information for the services they provide to us.
• Advertising and measurement partners, Meta and Google. Unless you opt out of advertising cookies, our website reports your visit to these companies and, when you submit a form, reports that submission so we can measure which ads work. What we send Meta through its Conversions API is your name, email address, phone number, town and state, each converted into an irreversible SHA-256 value before it leaves our server, together with your IP address and browser user agent, which Meta requires in readable form. Google receives comparable hashed contact details through Google Ads enhanced conversions, and Google Analytics 4 receives standard usage data. We send none of this if you reject advertising cookies. Meta and Google handle what they receive under their own privacy policies.
• Upstash, which stores the phone number from each submission for thirty days so we can recognise a repeat enquiry and avoid calling the same person twice. It is deleted automatically after that.
• Embedded third-party widgets such as Elfsight (Google reviews and Instagram feed) and Google Maps. These services may collect information directly from your browser per their own policies.
• Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the recipient will be subject to the same protections.

4. Your rights as a Connecticut resident

Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), Connecticut residents have the right to:

• Confirm whether we are processing personal data about you.
• Access a copy of the personal data we hold.
• Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
• Delete personal data we have collected.
• Obtain a portable copy of your personal data.
• Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data (we do not sell), or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. You can exercise the advertising opt out yourself at any time: choose “Reject non-essential” on our cookie banner, or use the Cookie settings link in the footer to change an earlier answer. We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal, so if your browser or extension sends it we treat that as an opt out and load no advertising or analytics tools at all.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Project records may be retained for up to seven (7) years for tax and warranty purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the most recent version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated via email.
